Have You Ever Heard Of A Girl Praying For Her Period?

Yeah, I know it's crazy. But when you are trying to get pregnant with PCOS, it's a regular occurrence. Can't really hope to get pregnant unless the cycle starts over again.

Sometimes God makes me laugh (in a good way that is). He continues to floor me with the reality of His companionship. I may not have explained this completely yet but the whole idea of the pregnancy companion is not only that women would have a great OB to walk with during pregnancy but also that they would remember to keep their eyes fixed on the Creator of life, our ultimate companion through pregnancy (or trying to get pregnant for that matter).

This evening I picked up Jesus Calling, this amazing daily devotional I've been reading lately. The author writes,

"My peace can be your portion at all times and in all circumstances. . .There could never be another companion as devoted as I am."

Are you kidding me? How's that for jumping out of the book and speaking directly to me. Thanks God. I needed that today.

Whatever your circumstance today. . .trying to get pregnant, overwhelmed by your current pregnancy or maybe just overwhelmed by the fruit of past pregnancies (those little ones making you nuts?!), I pray you would instead be overwhelmed by His peace that passes all understanding. He walks with you every minute of every day.
