Because I had already had 2 miscarriages, I was fearful of cramping during the first trimester. I was blessed to have a doctor who explained how the growth of the uterus worked (like a rubber band stretching) and that with that came some cramping, so my concerns were eased a bit. However, I have talked with a lot of ladies who have no idea how the stretching process progresses, what the organs go through and how the body reacts. I didn't read about it anywhere, so I would love to see something in there about that.
